Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal support on corporate matters, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations, particularly in manufacturing and banking sectors
• Develop and implement legal strategies to safeguard the company’s interests during corporate actions, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
• Ensure the company’s compliance with prevailing laws and regulations, including OJK regulations, by continuously monitoring legal risks and advising on necessary actions
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakehulders, including government bodies, regulators, and external legal counsel
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts to protect the company’s legal interests
• Provide legal advice and opinions to support cross-functional teams, ensuring that all contracts align with the company’s strategic goals
• Manage legal aspects of land acquisition, including due diligence, negotiation, and finalization of transactions
• Oversee land measurement, plotting, and repositioning processes, ensuring all land-related matters are legally sound and documented
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of company-owned land and properties
• Manage the Roya process and other land-related legal formalities, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Work closely with internal departments and external legal partners to provide legal opinions, memorandums, and strategic advice on corporate governance and compliance issues

  Job Requirements:
   

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a reputable university
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate legal rules, preferably within the manufacturing or banking industries
• Experience with publicly listed companies or law firms is highly advantageous
• Strong expertise in corporate law, with a focus on corporate strategy, mergers &amp acquisitions, and compliance
• In-depth knowledge of land law, mortgage law, and commercial contract drafting
• Familiarity with OJK regulations and other relevant legal frameworks
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external stakehulders
